Illustration Friday..Adrift..

Ok I know Illustration Friday On a Wednesday...?
Well I am just glad I got to do it at all .. sick Toddler home with Scarlet Fever...

I thought that went out with the Plague!!!... maybe I need to hang a skull and Crossbones on the door?
Any way.. the theme this week was ...adrift.. here is my effort completed at midnight last night..

Adrift on a sea of tea...

Have a lovely Wednesday !
Cheers , H

  6. Helen what a beautiful elephant! I know what you mean, I stayed up all night Tuesday to finish! Wow, I hope your son gets better really soon - last time I heard about scarlet fever was when Annie Sullivan had it, in the (1870's?). Good luck, and take care of yourself too!

  16. Oh good heavens. Seriously, where have I been? I've missed so much fun here! I absolutely adore elephants, and I absolutely adore teacups. You put the two together and WHAM, I just about exploded! I had to enlarge it, and I just fell in love with his face. Beautiful, how you've rendered the shading. Ohhhhh, how I love this one!
