Illustration Friday..Adrift..

Ok I know Illustration Friday On a Wednesday...?
Well I am just glad I got to do it at all .. sick Toddler home with Scarlet Fever...

I thought that went out with the Plague!!!... maybe I need to hang a skull and Crossbones on the door?
Any way.. the theme this week was ...adrift.. here is my effort completed at midnight last night..

Adrift on a sea of tea...

Have a lovely Wednesday !
Cheers , H

  1. It's never too late to post an Illustration Friday drawing! The whole purpose is to get you to have fun and be creative, not to be confined by rules.

    Very cute!

  6. Helen what a beautiful elephant! I know what you mean, I stayed up all night Tuesday to finish! Wow, I hope your son gets better really soon - last time I heard about scarlet fever was when Annie Sullivan had it, in the (1870's?). Good luck, and take care of yourself too!

  15. Oh good heavens. Seriously, where have I been? I've missed so much fun here! I absolutely adore elephants, and I absolutely adore teacups. You put the two together and WHAM, I just about exploded! I had to enlarge it, and I just fell in love with his face. Beautiful, how you've rendered the shading. Ohhhhh, how I love this one!
